I started watching the show because Josh Dallas was in it. And it turned out to be a decent show that fits my taste. I wanna share some of my opinions.

Things I liked: I really love the Mick and Zeke storyline. Especially in S4 where Mick went back in time in the cave to talk to Zeke. It completes the plot in S1 and shows how they are meant to be.

I love the style of the show. Like we are solving a puzzle with the characters with symbols and callings. And there are so many callbacks which I find it kinda rare in other shows. The call back of the drawing Ben holding Ol/Angelina of fire is really a nice touch.

Eagan is an interesting and hilarious character. Also one of the highlights of the show imo.

I like how they introduced and portraited plagues in late S4. It's kinda a shame the 10 plagues weren't finished cause I really like the eerie vibe and the concept. I even thought Daly's son s gonna die later cause the plague death of the first born lol.

Things I hate/ am confused: I think cause they rushed S4, too many unnecessary drama was involved. Like Ben and Sannvi (it was kinda funny how they pretend-kiss to fool guards. But sex right before death date... idk, I guess they wanted to live before die lol), Mick and Jared (it just feels weird how they squeezed griefing Zeke and being happy with Jared into half of a Season.. And then Bam, Drea is pregnant.. I like Drea but the drama is a bit too much). If it were meant to be 6 Seasons, I can see how they play out.

I love Josh Dallas, like I said. But lmao I almost forgot he was a professor until someone called him that in S4. He did not play a professor well lol. Also he did so many speeches in S4 and every time he did, it reminds me of him doing speeches as Prince Charming / David Nolan (the "We, Are both" speech if anyone knows lmaooo). I don't hate this. It just took me out of the show sometimes. I love Josh.

I don't really like the ending. It is like a "oh it was all a dream" kinda ending. Like somehow we knew that's prob how it's gonna end but something just feels missing. It's a bitter sweet ending imo.

The ending is Chaotic. Like I thought Eagan was gonna figure out something that is close to what Olive figured out. But they ended it with accusing the Grim Ripper or somethin. which is super random. Also like I said, they rushed the drama (which I know was not the creators fault since they only got 1 Season), Sannvi and Ben just went back to their old lovers like nothing happened.

Ben forgave Angelina really fast. Like she just said I didn't mean to and I prayed and Ben was like ok. And that was after Ben and Sannvi had sex which is a bit weird.

That's all I can think of for now. It is not a great show but it is a great show to discuss so feel free to share your thoughts.
