Logistics Question About the Finale

I just had a lightbulb moment and I wanted to know how dumb I am lol.
Did they shoot the final scenes of the finale in the airport 5 years ago? They must have, right? Jack Messina alone grew and his voice changed massively in the last 5 years.
How do you think that worked logistically? Like does NBC have any claim to that footage? I understand a production company made it and paid for it, but how does it all work with NBC and Netflix?
