Apple logo on old Mac

My grandma used to have a lot of old Macs. As a kid, i remember when you booted one of them up, it would show the apple logo as a full apple, but then play a sound effect of a bite and the bite mark would appear. I remember after seeing it constantly asking my grandma and mom to make it play that again only for them to be confused and assume I made it up, however I distinctly remember it, and exactly how the bite sound sounded, right before the apple startup sound. Did some research, couldn't find anything. Does anyone else remember this, and is it a real thing and I can't find any evidence of it or is it a ME?
