A) 9 losses in first 17 games of this season - worst by a distance post-Fergie
B) 30 wins in first 50 games - first (other than SAF?) United manager ever
C) Neither, they're arbitrary numbers
My thoughts: I prefer B, although C also true. Here's why B; despite being called to be sacked (by some), we're 6 points off the top, maybe 9 soon - that's hardly egregious. However I do understand the quality of play is poor, the wins always tight and the losses crucial and too many.
I think C also because as said above the standard of play is poor. However I firmly believe we need stability, I think hes the kind of manager to bring it. Our problems run very very deep, all the way at the too through to the players but don't think firing another manager who can't outlast all of these issues is the answer.
