Hey I am quite close to finishing book 9 and then going to read 10. But there are so many Malazan series by Erickson and Esslemont, so what should I look up next? Also, totally going to come back and give a whole rant and review of my opinions of the ten books. I find a lot of it difficult to understand at the time, only slowly putting puzzle pieces of the plot together, but a lot of the individual characters I like.
Additionally I love the First Law by Joe Abercrombie and I think that Erickson has a similar gift with dialogue and writing great character moments, and a lot of humour. So what other fantasy series do you recommend for similar character moments and set of unique eccentric characters?
