So other then the prologue being super cool and interesting the start to MT was harder for me to get through.
I was confused for awhile because I thought the Tiste Edur were living in an offshoot of the elder shadow warren. But it turns out they have been living on a completely different continent this whole time so it was a little confusing hearing about where Trull was and then realizing he is on the sub continent of Lether.
Also because of how House of Chains ended I was under the impression this whole book would just be a giant trull Pov or any POVs other than his would be his imaginings of what those characters said and not a completely true story because he seemed to be telling this story to Onrack and others.
Or is it that way and this is Trull filling in the pieces as best as he could. My impression was that MT was Trull telling the story to Telan Imass.
Now Iām getting into the beddict (unsure of spelling) brothers, and things are really getting interesting. Can anyone elaborate on the Trull story or is he meant to be an unreliable narrator, which I find this idea even more interesting.
