I do believe I got most everything, but there were a couple of things that I wasn't sure if they were meant to be ambiguous, or if I'd missed something. I use a kindle, so it was a breeze to search for character names if it jumped to their perspective, and I couldn't remember their current task that they started 100 pages ago, or whatever. I don't think I missed much, but I don't want to come across any spoilers. I'd just like to ensure that I know everything I'm "supposed" to know before I march onward.
I'm certain there were some subtleties I didn't catch, because there were times that I DID realize "oh holy shit, this insignificant character is actually X from one of the other perspectives" and I just barely caught it. I'm fine without knowing all of those sorts of things - those will be fun for a re-read with metaknowledge someday.
This was one of my favorite books that I've ever read in my life, and I didn't find it too challenging. I've heard that the rest of the series becomes much more challenging, but also significantly better (which I can barely imagine, I've been a fantasy reader for years, and even in all my favorite series I've never felt such joy reading the freshman entry) and I'm just kind of wondering if I should prepare myself for a much more difficult read!
Thanks guys!
