Would it be a good idea if I move somewhere closer to LRT?

Hello so here my monthly breakdown on transport

Rent -$1500 (not including utlities) My50 LRT&MRT -$50 Taxi -$132 Emergency grab -$100. Total. -&1782

I found a residence in a very walkable distance to lrt and its super safe even at night for $1200. I can cut down my transportation expenses so it would look like this

Rent -$1200 (not including utlities) My50. -$50 Grab. -$100 i use less than this monthly Total -$1350 So i save ($432) monthly and this will straight away go into my emergency funds which i keep on ASB at 4% dividend appx.

I guesstimate the moving cost will be around $500? Since it somewhere closer to where I live currently and I have a deposit on current house arnd 4k so I can deduct from that. What do you guys think? Any input would help me at this point.

Context: I work in sales so my earning is not fix but average arnd 6k a month. So I am just trying to maximize my saving as much as I can.

Thank you!
