Question on EIS: am i eligible for unemployment if my contract with current company didnt continue?

Post Body

Mods can remove if this question is not allowed. Im working in a company where our contract is renewed every year. They had renewed my contract for 2 years, but i feel as if this practice make my current position so unstable even though the pay is quite high compared to other company. My contract is due to renew in November, let’s say the company choose not to renew my contract, am I eligible for unemployment whilst I look for another job?

Also side note: If im the one who choose not to continue, would I be eligible for unemployment?

Thanks in advance!
