Post Body

From USA I’m (31m) taking my parents (60s) to Europe in about a month! This was a spontaneous trip, kinda like throw a dart at the map let’s go check it out. First part of our trip in Portugal is set, second part in Spain is up in the air for 5 days. The plan tentatively is to visit multiple cities in the area; Malaga (base camp), Seville, Estepona, Gibraltar.

I can do my own research of what’s famous and touristy, but I’m looking for people’s recommendations on their best tips or favorite hidden gems they’re willing to share. We don’t speak Spanish, I used to speak Italian pretty well though (Romance languages have some connections I know).

This trip is very open ended. We like a mix of activities like historical site seeing, cultural exploration (eg museums), food (eating is an activity right?), maybe some extra curriculars 🍷 or 💨 , dancing, outdoorsie and adventurous with kayaking or jet skiing.

Anything people have to offer is welcomed and appreciated!
