I have severe problems with feeling ugly and obsessing over my looks. I've been like this since I was a little kid, and I was wondering if there's a correlation with maladaptive daydreaming.

I absolutely hated myself until recently. I always had this image of myself when I would go into my daydreams. And I just got sick and tired of not looking like “me” so I just tried my best to copy and emulate how I would want to look and my god! I’m banging hot. In my eyes at least.
