I'm on the fence. I don't know if Steve Avery killed Ms. Halbach or not. What I do know is that there is a reason Judge Willis didn't allow those 9 other acts.

I have a long list of traffic violations and misdemeanor drug charges under my belt. I'm not proud of it and most was when I was much younger, but there it is. In 2013 I rear ended a lady going about 5mph leaving a stop light. She had to slam on her brakes because the guy in front of her did something stupid.

She hopped out of her car, as did i, and there was no damage to her vehicle. She said she was fine, it wasn't my fault, don't worry about it etc.

Flash forward to 2014. I get served papers saying I'm being sued for some 245,000 dollars. In the deposition she claimed that I was asleep at the wheel of my car and that I was sluring my words, that I couldn't even stand up. She also claimed I was going like 30 mph.

Long story short, none of that happened and lots of the things she said could be proven to make no sense / that she was lieing. Her lawyer had my record in front of him and was just drilling me. It looked really really bad. Luckily he ended up not being able to admit any of it as evidence because it was all misdemeanors and I didn't lie about it.

The point is, she found some ambulance chaser who took a look at my record and said oh yeah...we can get some money off this guy. If all that stuff could of been admitted in court there's not a doubt in my mind she would of gotten that money. They would of believed her story no problem just because it fit the profile of 'someone with my record'.

Yea Avery might be a real piece of shit human being, but that doesn't make him a killer. You can't always look at someone's past and say for certain that they did something. I know this first hand.
