I'm just getting around to watching the second season so I'm way behind on the past few years. I had no idea there were so many other possible suspects. Every episode Kathleen seems to have an expert debunk something. What caught me the most was the blood and how it was obviously planted and that they didn't have a blood spatter expert at the trial. As far as Brendan I think it was Katz who said a person with a low IQ can still rape a person. I found myself saying yes that is true but a person with a low IQ can also be coerced into a confession. Watching Brendan's interrogation reminded me of a case, I can't remember which one, in where the young man was very delayed and just wanted to go home to his mom and was so thirsty he kept asking for a coke. They made it seem like he could go home after they got what they wanted and he gave in just to go home. I go back and forth when it comes to whether I think they are guilty or not or at least Steven but I do feel the police were pretty dirty in the case. There was one thing I thought was really weird which was a brief shot of a picture of Steven and Brendan watching Teresa on the news with a horrified/shocked look on their face. I'm not sure what that is supposed to imply. I can say if I found out someone who had been on my property was murdered I'd be watching it on the news as well. Also, why would someone take a picture?
