Why do we put on a white color to blank out the eyelid then put a color similar to our original skin shade? It seems like too many steps. Then for a cut crease put another layer of concealer on top of a darker color to get a white base when you could have just not made it a dark color to begin with. I don't get it. It's been bugging me this whole week. Seems counterproductive. Putting a wet sticky base then using a skin color powder to dry it out then applying eyeshadow. Just layers upon layers of stuff. Then at the end of the day spend time and effort trying to get it off. I don't need my makeup to last 18 hours just the regular 8 would be OK.
