Does anyone else find that when their mental health is improved/improving, they want to spend less, and use what they have more?
In my case, I ignored a lot of mental health concerns for a long time. I recently started therapy and medication. Prior to the medication and therapy, I was only doing makeup once or twice a month, but I was purchasing every week or thereabouts. After the medical intervention, I am more at ease, and I'm always playing with my makeup now, and I have no drive to purchase.
They're not sure whether I'm bipolar, have ADHD, or a brain tumor, but the medication is helping the anxiety and depression that was causing me to spend like crazy without having the energy or inspiration to actually use what I had purchased.
