Become a snob. That is my new makeup goal.
Post Body
The Truth: Drugstore adds up.
Whenever I go to CVS/Walgreens/Target/etc or any other store I tend to look at the makeup. I had set myself a goal of no more then 5-10 a store.
From January 23rd I have spent over $200 at Ulta alone. My collection is up to 139 lip products.
No-Buys don't work for me. I can't not spend money. But I can be a snob. I can stop buying Maybelline.
- When I finish my current mascaras I will replace them with one high end mascara.
- My eyeliners I will stay cheap, simply because I have found my HG out of all the eyeliners I have tried and I love wearing colors.
- Eyeshadow -174 shades. It is time to prune and polish and get rid of some of these. Then it is snob time. No more indie samples I have fallen in to the trap many here have. They are so cheap why not get a pile. I will only buy full size.
- Lip Products: CUT THEM DOWN. YOU DO NOT NEED THAT MANY SHADES. This is where I need to grow a snobby pair. No more $5-$10 lipsticks. No more makeup from drug stores. High end or die.
- Foundation (well powder): Stick with what you are doing you only have two keep it that way
- Primers: Just stick with Smashbox.
Sorry you guys this became more of a rant to myself.
