The temptation of 3 for 2 sales.
Post Body

Since I joined this sub, I've destashed, exchanged away or binned anything in my stash I didn't need or use. I was ruthless. Now I'm left with the barebones of a solid, working routine like I wanted. To maintain it, I set myself a no-buy except refills and to justify a refill I had to write a review to see if it was worth repurchasing. Because some of my routine is using products that are Korean or Japanese I have to buy in advance. I posted a TMO, and I realised that if I kept buying so far in advance I'd just end up hoarding. It was better to be out of the product for a week or so than have six bottles just stacked up expiring before I get to them.

So far, I've refilled two items and bought a better cleanser. I used a 3 for 2 offer.

Now I have to refill something again, there's a 3 for 2 offer and I'm thinking of using it. I hate my current day moisturiser, it's fiddly and just bleugh. I bought it in a sale, after reading one (clearly sponsored) review and I've hated it ever since I opened it. I thought if I just used it I'd get used to it. But it just WON'T GO AWAY, it feels like there's a fairy just refilling it. I'm thinking of buying a new one in the 3 for 2, and a day serum to make up the extra thing.

I have a voucher and enough points on my Boots card that I wouldn't be paying anything for these items. I just don't know if I'm talking myself into making purchases for the sake of it, yanno?
