How to not age yourself up when doing makeup?

I have been told that i look older than my age (im 22) and i think its because of the way i apply makeup. Any tips on how to correct this? Or how can i do my makeup to look younger? I thought my makeup looked good, but i kind of see what they mean, i do look older than 22 ðŸ˜
