Hi everyone. I was looking for some advice and direction in regard to what make to buy and in general an everyday natural makeup routine

I am a 21-year-old African American female so this is kinda late. But I do want to start wearing makeup to look more adult if that makes sense, and plus my skin has a lot of hypertension and dark spots. So I want to work on covering that.

So for dark-skinned girls where did you start, and what are the best affordable makeup and skincare brands? I literally know nothing about it, I can't even tell you a foundation from a concealer.
