Can we talk about foundations with 50% pigment?
Post Body

I am interested in exploring foundations that are 50% pigmented. So far, the only brands I know of are Dermacol and RCMA. Are there any others in the US?

I currently use Dermacol ($15). I am obsessed with the otherworldly coverage, but it doesn't stay on well at all, and it can break down pretty badly, even with setting sprays and other precautions. And the thin metal tube can make it hard to squeeze out the right amount, which can get messy and wasteful. But that coverage! That coverage has me hooked.

RCMA ($23) is also 50% pigmented. The formulation is a bit different, but I'm tempted to spend the extra $7 because apparently it stays on better, and it doesn't break down or get messy the way Dermacol does. I could be wrong though. Thoughts?

Also, please keep in mind that I'm extremely fair, so brands like DermaBlend and CoverBlend are all too dark.

John Maclean mixes Estee Lauder Double Wear and Illamasqua's white foundation to create a very pale, extremely full-coverage look, and it may equal 50% coverage as well. But that's a bit cost prohibitive for me at almost $73 worth of product, not including powder.

I need something pale enough with 50% pigment that won't be terribly expensive. It's a tall order, but I'm hoping.

Thanks!
