Authorized US Retailers for Dermacol (Update)
Post Body

A few days ago, I posted this, in which I detailed my (failed) efforts to find legit Dermacol products locally.

I tried contacting Dermacol myself, but got no reply. Then a few people pointed me toward some promising options, particularly with this user's detailed post. I was well on my way to ordering.

But when I woke up today, I found that Dermacol responded to my message. They had this to say:

Hello, thank you for your interest. This is the only one authorized reseller of Dermacol products in USA

Ultima International LLc

Warehouse #1: 1009 West 12th ST., Alma GA, 31510; Warehouse #2: 400 Valley Brook Ave, Lyndhurst NJ 07071

First, I looked for an official website for Ultima. Apparently, it's this weird site, which looks terrible. The main page lists a few details about Ultima, and the "For Buyers" section looks to be some kind of cheap version of eBay. None of the products originate from the US.

So I called the first number, and it doesn't seem to be a business. It feels like more of a personal phone number. It rang a few times, and then and a lady with an Indian accent (sorry, not trying to be racist) instructed me to leave a voice mail after a few rings. I did not leave one.

So I tried the second number, and after ringing a few times, an automated voice told me something like "The Magic Jack customer you are trying to reach is not available." Something to that effect. Again, very weird.

So then I sent an email to the email address provided, and have yet to receive a response. I will update this post if and when I do.

So this whole thing just seems super sketchy to me. I found their Facebook page directly from the official Dermacol website. Why would they give me such sketchy information? Or am I reading too much into it?

I think I'll just stick with the Redditor suggestions.
