I think I need help with my weird eyebrows.
I, like a lot of you here, have had a long history with my eyebrows. My first attempt at shaping happened when I was 15. I had no idea what I was doing. I ended up tweezing the spaced-apart hairs on the inner corners, and left everything else alone. So I ended up with these shapeless, caterpillar-esque atrocities that were way too far apart. In college, I went through a brief overarched stage, and even tried the too-thin look for awhile. Thank God that didn't last.
I am now 32 years old, and my eyebrows are doing a little better. I like to think that I have more of a gentle, tapering arch.
But there's something nagging at me. My eyebrows are still weird to me. They're full, but they tend to look straggly and sparse, even though there's no stray hair anywhere. It's like the hairs are too spaced apart. I fill them in with powder, but it's still annoying. And they don't really have that nice, consistent wash of hair. If I tweeze one wrong hair, I end up with an obvious gap in that brow. After a year, the arch and tail of my left brow is just now starting to get sightly better. I don't expect to have "Instagram brows" when I'm bare-faced, but I still feel like they could be better. I'm just not sure how. The tails of my brows are barely visible as it is, and I have tried thinning out the body (inner half) of my brows, and it didn't look as good. There are literally no stray hairs left to remove.
I have significant health issues, too, and an unfortunate result of that is sparse/thin scalp hair. It's at the point where I have to be really careful how I put my hair up in a ponytail, because I could end up with scalp show-through. So I thought that maybe the sparsity would carry over to my brows and explain the odd growth. (Side note: I have had three full thyroid panels from three different doctors, spaced apart over time, and they all came back normal.)
So I thought I would attach two images to show you guys what I'm talking about. In the first one, I have no makeup in my eyebrows at all. All I did was wipe some of my skin makeup off my brows so you can see them better. Also, sorry the picture is kind of blurry. In the second one, you are able to get somewhat of an idea of how I fill in my brows. They turned out too dark that particular day, but you get the idea.

Thanks, and sorry that was so long!
