Is there a "wrong" way to use translucent powder?
Post Body

I don't know if there is a wrong way, but if so I must be doing it. I use Skin79 orange as my foundation. It's a perfect color match, but a little too dewy for me some days. I try to tamper it down a bit with the NYX pressed translucent powder and my beauty blender, but it's like the powder turns my face two shades lighter.

I had this same problem when I was trying out a sample of MUFE 117. great color match until I try to put a powder over it.

Even when I try adding a contour over the powder (I've been using NYX blush in Taupe) my face still looks too pale.

Thoughts, suggestions and opinions appreciate. :)
