I paid $25 for a SINGLE Half Magic eyeshadow and it came packaged in nothing but CARDBOARD. fucking CARDBOARD. im just absolutely flabbergasted by the inconsiderate nature of these companies towards the people that pay their bills. Is it a lovely color? yes. However, putting the degradation of our, as a greater society, morals towards the basic working class citizen in a place so fucking obvious feels like a spit in my face. I understand “it’s compostable” but for $25 a single eyeshadow i am going to have to protect that mf in my makeup bag for 2 years minimum i fucking guarantee, if it holds up like that, that is. I absolutely hate late stage capitalism. 🙃 Take your flimsy paper packaging and shove it where the sun don’t shine.
