Pretty much what the title says; I love makeup but have trouble with the more subtle stuff like figuring out undertones. I think there’s a tendency to assume East Asians have warmer tones (which is why so many East Asian beauty brands have such cool toned foundation, to cancel out the yellow…) but I’ve noticed both warm and cool tone marketed makeup tend to look off on me. I’m pretty sure I have olive tones, especially since the only perfect foundation match I have (Urban Decay Face Bond in 13) is an olivey one, but I can’t tell if I’m warm, cool, or neutral. I prefer silver jewelry but don’t think gold vs silver looks better.
I don’t take many pictures so please ignore how awkward I look in them all lol but the first three are in natural light and the last two are bathroom light. What do y’all think?
You look pretty in your tone :)
