Iām a millennial who recently became a mom. Only this week Iāve gotten out of my skinny jeans and into a pair of wide legged, high waisted jeansā¦ only to learn boot cuts and a waist so low you need a bikini wax is what the cool kids are sporting. Hello 2004!
As for makeup, I donāt think my outdated-ness is as obvious but Iām trying to figure out whatās trending and the 16 year olds at the mall seem to get freaked out when I stare at their faces š
Is lipgloss back in? Did when finally get rid of the soap brows? And if so, what did we replace them with?
Elder gen Z here, also a $tripper so I see all the beauty trends lol. Everyone is doing their base as natural looking as possible. Some āeuphoriaā inspired looks are still living their moment (for my dramatic girlies this includes rhinestones āØ), BLUSH EVERYWHERE, thin AND thick eyebrows are both having a moment which I love. Iām seeing a lot of fake tan and natural hair colors. Think āgirl next doorā vibes. Iām sorry to say that soap brows have not diedā¦ Bbls are going out of fashion tho! And ppl are preferring to look more fit. I donāt see ANY matte or red lips anymore just lip liner and glosses. Big winged eyeliner and lashes arenāt going anywhere anytime soon. But the āclean girlā aesthetic is also a big thing. Pretty much just do what you want as long as your foundation looks natural youāll be on trend.
