I replied to a post here about a month ago to someone who was looking for help with things relative to makeup and makeup application. I had been unemployed for a bit, but have past extensive experience in the cosmetics retail space; a job I look back on quite fondly. I tried to get back into cosmetics when work dried up otherwise (I was a manager in a restaurant most recently), but it never materialized. Instead of getting down on myself about it I tried to remember what I love doing, and do it more often.
I'm a huge makeup fan, user, and overall sponge when it comes to what's what/who's who and what there is available and upcoming in the beauty realm. It's so nice that this community gave me a chance to tap into all of that and find a way back to 'myself', and renew my love for it by supporting someone else who wants to learn.
Reddit is a wild place sometimes, but this is what I come here for, and I'm so thankful it created a partnership that's so meaningful. You guys rule. <3
