Lash extensions vs lift and tint vs mascara - help me decide which is the best for a low maintenace girl like me.
Post Body

So I’ve been mainly using mascara since I started using make-up. I am Asian/Hispanic with double eyelids and longer than average, thin lashes. I love anything low-maintenance and cheaper in the long run. I work in hospitality and do walking often so I tend to sweat more.

Last month, I got natural-looking lash extensions done for the first time, and I still have it (though not as full, but I still adore it because it’s still noticeable). Didn’t cost me anything since I was a lash model, but it’s typically around $120-$200 here in Australia. It saved me a lot of time of needing to do my lashes and no smudging or residue. My main issue is not being able to do what I usually do with my eyes, like rubbing it (not roughly but lightly), using oil-based eye creams, putting mascara on, etc.

With mascara, I just use Benefit ones which cost about $38-$50 (?) depending if it’s on sale. Would last me for months but obviously, doesn’t save me prep time and normal mascara problems like smudging happens. Also can be difficult to remove.

I haven’t done a lash lift before and I was thinking about getting my extensions removed and getting a lift and tint. This would cost about $70-$150 and I think lasts around the same time as extensions. If I’m only getting the 1000 Hour lash tint, (from Priceline) it’s about $20 for 8 applications (though not sure how it’ll go).

I don’t have sensitive eyes but I am concerned with lashes falling out unnaturally. I’ve had more lash falls with extensions so far, but I’m not sure if it was because I was just too rough.
