Please help me how to get good looking foundation with my skin type!

So I’m not the greatest at make up. I use good quality foundation with a foundation brush?! firstI apply primer; then apply foundation and dab/tap on until smooth, then do concealer and then finish with a powdered brush. It looks sort of okay but by end of the day it all comes off in patches and I look awful it gets me down! I do have eczema on my face which is always coming up, sometimes my face can get oily around my forehead but my cheeks are dry skin. It doesn’t matter what foundation I use! Anyone got any tips for my skin type? Thanks.
