I remember growing up, people had a judgement for the brand you used , now, it’s acceptable to be a full face drugstore kinda person. The days of us feeling as though MAC or ABH is “superior” makeup has been gone for a while now with the rising popularity of drugstore dupes.
However, I feel like no one talks about brands like Bare Minerals, Estée Lauder, and Clinque anymore! After trying out more from them I’m convinced they’re actually superior if anything.. I feel like I experience less disappointment because majority of their items have been there for YEARS and were put out to satisfy customers, not just to go viral on social media!! They wanted to make sure the customers were satisfied with the quality of the product. Sometimes I daydream about what it would be like going to a Clinque counter at it’s prime- an experience that sephora will honestly never have. What’s your underrated product from “grandma brands”????
Let me scream this from the rooftops CLINIQUE HIGH IMPACT LINER! lol. I am awful at eyeliner and one of my eyes is hooded. This is the only eyeliner that lets me make a perfect wing and doesn’t drag my eyelids. It is amazing and I will be using this product until I die.
