Has anyone used the Elf Camo Powder Foundation and liked it?

Hi all, I got this powder foundation back in December and have used it on and off since then. I originally got it in hopes that it would be a quick way to even my skin tone and calm down my oiliness before work, but I have been unable to make this product work for me at all. Granted, now it looks a bit goofy because it’s now a shade too light for me but I seriously don’t know how to make this work.

I’ve tried: - using it alone as a base on top of a bit of concealer. This requires me to basically buff and blend it into my skin extensively (like way longer than BB cream or foundation) for it to look remotely good. I do my skincare routine and let all my products (moisturizer, sunscreen etc) set in before I apply any of it. - using it to “set” regular foundation. Same thing with the extensive buffing. It also takes spots of the foundation off when I try to do this. - blending it with a wet beauty blender - blending it with a wet brush - blending with a dry brush/ beauty blender

Basically everything. It just looks patchy, uneven, and cakey no matter what I do. I’ve heard powder foundation is great for people with oily skin. I would hate to have to throw this out, so am I doing something wrong??

hiii I’ve been trying this for the past weeks as a light coverage at work and it worked better! I think someone mentioned that I was stamping/applying the powder too hard and I think they were right. A lighter hand is the key. However, it does still apply a little cakey and leaves my skin really oily at the end of the day. Oh well lol — I’ll probably still use it up haha.

Hmmm it seems like primer and fluffy brush application is the consensus. I’m gonna try that and see if I get better results. I’ve tried the fluffy brush on it’s own but it’s not noticeable to me but maybe it’s the primer that makes the difference?
