Was told I looked very tan today without make up on but…

I am so annoyed that every time I go do any sort of color matching at any store, I got some thing in between fair and medium, which I have started using. I happen to think it is all very light for my complexion but I also know anything much darker tends to look orange on my olive toned skin.

A few times in my life, and especially today, I wore no make up and people told me how tan I look. It’s not that I look tan… it’s that I am using make up much lighter than my natural face and people only realize I am brown underneath when I wash off the make up.

Will using blush and contour over foundation help it to be less of a shock on my no-make up days? I already struggle with how I see myself, and that whole conversation makes things worse!
