In keeping with the name of this sub, nudity is already legal in Seattle - but relatively few people exercise their freedom. There are two commonly accepted / widely known beaches where people go nude, and some bicycle rides and parades, but otherwise there's little nudity. See the links below to the Seattle Police Department blotter and a local national public radio news outlet.

The repercussions for me personally would be unpleasant, in my family, my community, and my church community, if I were to be in the news for being nude, even though I would only do so without violating any laws.
I keep hoping that there will be brave souls - ideally, groups of men and women - who would be willing and able to break new ground by having, say, nude picnics in parks other than the two where it's already accepted, and doing it without fanfare that would attract the undesirable elements that would bring disrepute on the movement, and doing it often enough that it becomes known and acceptable.
I truly hope that incrementally, acceptance and tolerance would flourish.
