I’m a 38/M and engaged to the love of my life who is my best friend and together we have 5 kids. I love my life with her and going out but I’m missing something in my life I desperately want. Friends…as a kid we moved around a lot or I was back and forth between my parents. Always made friends where I went and am still very extrovert today. I enjoy talking to people, meeting new people, having fun, drinking, going out, sports and traveling. I’ve lived in Houston since getting out of the military. I’ve had a few good friends between now and since then but most of them would always try and talk to my ex wife behind my back so now I have trust issues with guys lol

I’ve never had a couple buddies that I could hang out with watch sports, drink and travel with. Or even a couple to hang out with me and my fiancée. I would really love to make/have friends for me and/or for us. Just can’t seem to meet anyone at my age and stage of life lol. I have a big family and 2 brothers but don’t talk to them much and they don’t invite me anywhere.

Yet everywhere I go all I ever see is a group of people together which I wish I had. Getting a guys number is just weird to me. And I can meet someone and hang out once or so and then not really talk to them anymore. Is it met? Am I boring or what? Kind of depressing for me at this point. Are there any good people out there lol.
