I'm having a lazy evening, so what better opportunity to meet some new people!
Nerdy fellow from Denmark. I work as a software developer, but am reflecting a lot about life, work, love, the future and all that because I had a stress burnout a year ago.
I play games on occasion - currently Mario Kart (Switch), Mario Rabbids: Kingdom Battle (Switch), Cities: Skylines (PC). Started playing Cities because of Biffa on YouTube - love his "Fix It" series.
I used to do a lot of student revue - wrote songs, sketches, acted, made videos, a bunch of stuff. Stopped due to my burnout. Looking to find out what my next creative outlet should be - perhaps you've got some ideas. Maybe it'd be fun to try my hand at improv - or learning to play an instrument. The goal would be to learn to write my own song from scratch, instead of writing lyrics for existing pop melodies - though that might be a bit ambitious? I have no idea!
Currently watching The Office and Mr Robot - a bit slowly. Somewhere in Season 3 for The Office, and just watched the 3rd episode of Mr. Robot. It's bad that Mr. Robot is kinda relatable, right?
I tend to get these passionate interests from time to time. So, I know a lot about Rubik's cubes/other puzzles of the same vein, and fountain pens and ink. I also have a huge stash of random electronics components, though I never get anything too complex built. It's pretty fun to mess about with, though.
I'm alone a bit more than I'm really comfortable with, but I have social anxiety, so it's not always easy to get over that hurdle. :) I do my best to stay positive and get out of my neurotic thoughts, though.
Hmm. I don't know what else to say... Oh yes, I love cats, but I can't have one. My apartment complex won't allow it. Bummer.
So, yeah, want to talk about this or something else? Hit me up. If you're feeling stalker-y, you can check my posting history for other random factoids. Or you can just chat me up. See you in a bit!
