despite what you may think, the best way to make friends here is not to post. talk to people. comment. discuss shared interests. you want to know how people make friends? you talk to them. a lot. about dumb shit. about fun stuff. ab out whatever you feel you want to talk to them about. you make an effort. and you want to know how to make friends? you make an effort. you talk back. you make time for them. you work at it. if you want a good friend you have to work as much as the person who is trying to make a friendship. stop thinking that someone better may be next because this person said something wrong or has a different interest. all my best friends in irl have hugely different interests to me. we argue. we fight. but you know what? we come back together. we work through it.

if you want to make friends here. work at it. take the time with people. dont give up after a few days because its "not working" or "not what you want". try it out. you may find out what you thought you didnt want is actually what you needed and truly wanted.
