i'm 46 and i'm a guy

i've used the 22-25 flair, but mid-20s and up is better (and same or similar timezone would be good!)

i live in birmingham, but i'm from north wales (aye, i speak welsh). i'm planning on re-locating in the new year, and i might move back to sheffield (where i lived during my 20s and 30s). or... somewhere else?!

as a younger fellow, i was in a few different bands. been making music by myself for the last few years, but it'd be ace to be in a group again! genres-wise, i'm mostly into post-rock and post-punk, but i also like jangly indie / dreampop, IDM, alt-country, and neo-classical

i'm into films, so say hi if you're a film nerd. i'm into american indies, french new wave, british kitchen sink, hollywood blockbusters... definitely not a snob! i used to work in the showroom in the 2000s, so, if you were a showroom customer circa 2004, i may have made you a bad cappuccino

though i was kicked out of art school, i kinda want to get into screenprinting / digital design... so if that's summat you know about, introduce yourself!

i work in a library, so i'm aropund books all day long. the novels i read are mostly of the literary fiction (been stuck on penguin / vintage modern classics for most of my life), but i sometimes crack open a detective story or a sci-fi. i like a bit of non-fiction too, and across the last year, i've read titles on topics like AI, space colonization, environmetal ethics, british empire, and economics

other stuff i like, but don't have much time / energy for: (fell) running, bouldering, hiking, cycling, hanging out in cafes, lindy hopping, eating pies
