When you live in a country that systematically rejects your identity, it's kind of hard to reveal yourself to others. It's kind of hard to build genuine rapports sustained by total trust and full transparency. I'm a 30-year-old woman, and I've always had to hide big chunks of myself in order to be safe and 'comfortable' within the bounds of this society; a two-faced society that nurtures me with one hand and suffocates me with the other.

I'm looking for something elusive, as I believe most of us are. It may be unattainable, but then again it may be closer than we imagine. Various people are stepping forward and hoping for the best. Likewise, here is my humble message in a bottle.

I'm here because I'd like to stray from my reclusive path for a while. I feel The Urge every now and again; the insistent need to go out there and connect with other people on any level that is available to me. I suppose it's my soul's way of demanding that I give myself a chance to build meaningful relationships through serendipity.

I love to watch shows, devour books, play video games... and I've been going on walks almost daily, and it's nice that I have to dress warmly nowadays. Goodbye, hellish summer heat!
