I am now accepting friendship applications for a limited time! Must be able to read and write. Oh, good, you may already qualify. Let's see if you can make it through the rest of whatever this is.

I'm Ideally looking for a few long term quality friends but I'm also open to more casual chats and to find out who wants to stick around. One can't expect explosive mutual friendship without some time and effort.

Here's some info about me.

I am Canadian, EST, not a big deal to me where you live but may affect you and general ease of communication. I have had friends with 13 hour differences in the past, but it is a little restrictive.

I like a lot of things and enjoy finding new hobbies and interests so this isn't entirely about me. I'm sure whomever you are you are equally looking for a friend who would be interested, that's me hopefully.

I know some French and am studying Korean, and I know and study a little programming.

I like horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and general nerd stuff probably though I never really self identified as a nerd but it is not inaccurate.

I enjoy a ton of genres of music(most of them) and am always trying to find new sounds, but a lot of metal and synth genres and anything dark themed are among my favorites.

I enjoy anime and manga, video games and board games. Too many titles to go into here. I don't play a lot of games outside of with a couple existing friends but would like to do so more or even potentially add some new friends to our casual group, but that's not required.

Amongst gaming, I do enjoy watching a little e-sports and speedrunning once in a while and tend to enjoy games that have consequences(!) and dying(!), but not always. Old, retro, new, co-op games, lots of variety and most are more fun with friends. I also like design, art, and in-depth analysis of them.

I have quite a few original board game designs that I have been working on for a while, rpg-like stuff, so that's a bit of a hobby. I can always use more ideas or collaboration, maybe that's you? Though I do have my creative visions to preserve. But potential new projects are always right around the corner, to stack on top of the carcasses of the previous ones!

I enjoy some vtubers and some other streamers but I'm not really part of any of their communities or would consider myself much of a regular anywhere.

I like all animals, but especially dogs, cats are nice, rodents are cool, nature and the outdoors. Less so people, haha, but I'm trying to find more of those.

I also like cooking, baking, photography, reading, and more!.

Communication and having a good attitude are important to me, so it would be nice to also find others who share that. Not exclusively for good times, we're more complex than that and it's better to be real.

On that note, I'll be forthcoming here since I believe more information is always better. I am single and working on that but I do genuinely want to have more friends in general and people to talk to, so that isn't an ulterior motive, it's just a fact about me.

I'm not that social and deal with social anxiety but I would like to have more people to talk to and get along with. It doesn't have to be gaming friends but that's also a fun online activity to do with friends, but just chatting is fine too, or both! I welcome suggestions and am open to talking about almost anything.

Potentially anyone qualifies to me as long as you're decent and not toxic and we'll see from there, I'm not judgmental and think I am easy going, but I'm not a push over, haha. I value respect for myself and towards others (I do not mean obedience), if that's not your thing then I guess I don't mean "anyone" and I'll be pretty judgmental so you might as well move on and save us both some time.

I think I'm a little young at heart so age doesn't matter to me but below mid 20s starts to feel too creepy to me, even amongst adults, even though personally I was always pretty mature and preferred older friends. Any age older doesn't matter to me, I like explaining to the elderly or the young, hahaha, I'm kidding, but I am patient so it's all fine. Learning and explaining is a fun part of life.

Hopefully that's enough to start some conversations and questions. If that sounds interesting to you reply or send me a chat message and I will absolutely respond, maybe not on the same day if I get a lot of responses or am busy but I will make time for it soon, because otherwise what would be the point of this.

But like I said, social anxiety, so I prefer one on one conversations, private messages and the like, and also not making posts like this.

Well that's a decent sign for you to have made it this far, unless you skipped ahead in which case you're already disqualified, but otherwise that's great, you just need to pass the written part of the application. I'll leave that to you, but an introduction would be great, short or long doesn't matter, whatever you want, but if I do get more replies than I can manage I will have to be selective and it should be obvious that the quality will matter. I... do accept bribes in the form of skeleton and skeleton related art or what have you, perhaps memes or other things but only of the finest qualities. Nothing truly gross, but disturbing and fascinating is acceptable, fake preferably, but factual is also of interest. It's all in lighthearted fun and fascination, don't read too much into it.

Tl;dr: If you are looking for this then you failed the reading section.

Good luck, skeleton! (That's you)
