Sippin' on a bit of Scotch to spice up the festivities because, well, why not? Let's start with some stereotypes.

Just home from taking a stroll in the Scottish rain, all decked out in our fancy full-body waterproof gear – turning a simple dog walk into a bit of a fashion show. Waterproof socks, hat, and dry robe. Invincible. Dogs had their coats on too. How did dogs survive thousands of years without them?!

Early morning mission to nab those last-minute Christmas bits completed – had a bit of a tussle with some grannies over the roast potatoes and gravy. Victory. Then Gym time followed to make up for the fudge feast last night – gotta keep things in check, right? I'm a teacher and got some lovely food goodies from pupils and... I hate to see it going to waste.

Now, a crackling fire with freshly chopped logs, laptop open for some writing, and the distant sounds of football, the proper kind, in the background. The only thing missing? Someone pretending to be interested, all the while secretly hoping for dog pics. I'm fine with that.
