Howdy!

I'm currently in the market for new friends to get to know and develop close connections with. These past few years have been very lonely and isolating for me, and I've reached the end of my rope when it comes to having people I feel comfortable and safe with, so I figured I'd give looking for friends on Reddit another go.

About Me!

So my interests span the typical nerdy shit that most people on here are interested in. I love most forms of entertainment – some of my favourites of which I will list below – so we'll be able to talk about that. I'm an amateur photographer, but not in the sense that it's my entire personality I just like taking pretty pictures of things sometimes and people seem to think they're not terrible. I have an interest in crafts, such as embroidery and crochet, but I almost never practice them because depression do be limiting my mental energy for things. That sums up my main interests, but I have listed some of the others here:

About You!

Not that I'm in a position to be picky about who I might make friends with, but it would be great to have someone I have shared interests with. As you can see from the table above my taste in media is rather eclectic and so I've yet to find a person with similar tastes. Not to say that you can't have interests in other things for us to be compatible, I love hearing people talk about the things that interest them or that they're passionate about. I'd love to meet people from new places, although fellow Scots are more than welcome to apply. Welsh and Irish folk are very welcome too, English I could take or leave (just kidding). Ideally you are similar in age to me, nobody under 18 please, and are also queer or at least not homophobic. p.s. you get bonus points if you study something super cool at university/college and are willing to tell me all about it, extra super bonus points if it's to do with space/physics.
