Hello!

My wife joined this group recently and had a bunch of really nice people reach out to her, so I thought I should give it a shot. I have posted looking for friends in a few other subreddits with very little luck.

A few things about me:

I go by Elsie or Els. I am married and have 2 free range, with supervision, children under the age of 16. I have a mostly bubbly personality wrapped in an introverted shell. I am not great at small talk but can keep a conversation going. I am looking for someone that is decently active and likes to receive a fair bit of attention. I work from home and between my job, my writing, and my family I still feel like I have a lot more to give.

I am a gamer who is willing to play any kind of game. I am big into MTG, Family of ex employee, Board games, Video games, etc.

I love just about all music(except country and Christian). I do not have favorite bands, I have favorite songs lol.

I watch a lot of shows and movies, mostly for inspiration for my writing. My favorite shows right now include: The Magicians(I also started reading the books), The Haunting series, Futurama, and Doctor Who, mostly for Clara. My favorite Movies include: The Woman in Black, The Princess Bride, The Labyrinth, and Clue.

I am into the vintage esthetic, 1940-50s for clothes and 1800s for decor. I have a very light academia/librarian style.

I am also big into photography and cooking. There may a bit of Green Witch inside me, making her way out.
