Post Body

I'm looking to make a close long-term friend, and I really enjoy calls so building up to those would be ideal in the future.

When it comes to chatting to people on here, people tend to find me engaging at first because I'm smart but I rub them up the wrong way quickly. Controversial opinions listed below:

I'll list a few. - Myers Briggs personality types are ridiculous. - SSRIs are highly questionable at best. - Breaking Bad is lame as hell. - Identity politics are stupid. - Kurzgesagt/Veritasium/Vsauce are corporate fluff. - Netflix is universally trashy. - The financial ties between pharma companies and the DSM authors essentially make it another food pyramid. - Most sports should use AI to referee games instead of humans. - Steven Fry is a pseudointellectual windbag. - Owning a pet or being a parent doesn't mean you're morally superior to anyone else. - Everyone associated with the 'intellectual dark web' is stupid. - Semetary are awesome. - Noam Chomsky is the smartest man alive. - Narrative fiction can never outdo sports for drama. - The number of global news outlets worth trusting or using is less than 5.
- MF DOOM was the greatest rapper of all time (that there's any chance you've heard of.) - TED Talks are absolute rubbish (except Sam Hyde's) - Rocko's Modern Life is the best animated show ever. (Except maybe Monkey Dust) - 90s Eurodance is amazing. - If you live in a developed country, it's almost unavoidable to live in a highly immoral way. - Modern life is some kind of cognitive dissonance simulator.

I love chatting to people from all walks of life and all different schools of thought. Free to tell me if you strongly disagree with any of the above, I've found you can learn the most from people who don't think the same as you.

Feel free to pick me up on any of these, or ask me what I think about any topic you would like to discuss! Or just say hi, whatever works. Haha.
