"Let's hit the road out of nowhere And jump in our car And be riders in the love game Following the stars Don't need a book of wisdom I got no money talk at all
Be a flower, so I could paint you Be a child of the sun We're a part of this together Could never turn around and run I Don't need no fortune teller To know where my lucky love belongs
Beause it all begins again when it ends, And we're all magic friends"Â Â
Ok so that was fun. Â
Anyway, so now that I'm getting a better attitude in life, I think it's time to reach out and make new friends. Yes, friends. Right now I'm not emotionally, mentally, financially, or physically ready for anything more than that at the moment. But hey, I'm not one to fight fate.
So I just got out of prison earlier this year, and along with being 42, and living in new state, where I don't know anyone, well that all makes it difficult to make friends.
I enjoy lots of music and can appreciate genres I don't like. Helps that I was an online radio DJ for awhile. For my personal tastes, hair metal and grunge are tops, though I've been listening to synthwave recently for ambiance.
Other hobbies of mine are writing, mainly fiction stories, and DMing RPGs along with drawing and painting. I also read tarot, which is a GREAT hobby to have in the bible belt.
Let's see what else might be interesting to talk about... Served a few years in the Navy, never really living in one place for longer than 2 years due to military upbringing, so I'm really looking forward to settling down finally. Â
So if you are over 30, and any of this piques your interest, respond with a DM (as I can't do chat) along with the song/artist I borrowed these lyrics from.
