Post Body

A lot of folks are looking for casual chat friends. What I'm really looking for is closer connections with people who can relate to life being difficult and feeling out of place.

I'm very chronically ill and disabled. I have a lot of chronic pain. I'm also neurodivergent and have anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD. I'm mostly homebound.

I'm around a lot and can hold space for what others are going through. I tend to connect best with folks who are also ND and/or experience mental or chronic illness. People who are ok with me being pessimistic and dark sometimes. Who won't give me advice or try to make me more positive or fix me.

If that kind of friendship and mutual support sounds like what you've been looking for, feel free to send a chat request. Be aware I can only do text chat due to my disabilities, no voice or video.

Some other essentials: I'm a socialist, anti-capitalist, care about human rights. Still COVID cautious. Atheist. Queer, ace, and genderqueer.

PST timezone but don't mind where people are as long as we can line up a bit. I like long messages and deep conversations. I prefer if people have a good amount of time to talk. If that's overwhelming, I'm not the best fit. I try to not be "too much" but I also want to be myself. The right people get me and find me easy to talk to and supportive. I'm looking for the same.

Interests we can discuss to break the ice: video games, creative writing, reading, nature, TV, YouTube, movies, photography.
