Hey all. I'll be blunt. I have a lot of free time and I'm trying to get over a recent breakup. I can't work due to chronic illness and disability. It also makes it hard to make friends. I really enjoy chatting with people but most people are too busy for more than a one-off convo or occasional messages. That's cool but I'd love to find something more frequent.
Some important things about me: I have a lot of chronic pain and trauma. I'm neurodivergent. I'm queer and genderqueer. Socialist, anarchist, disability rights activist, atheist. Still COVID cautious.
Pretty pessimistic and dark because my life has been horrific. I do still enjoy lighter moments and fun when I can. I'm a great listener, excellent text chatter, and enjoy close connections and holding space for people. But I'm not a very positive or "normal" person and tend to get along best with people who can relate and vibe with that.
General interests include writing, cozy gaming, TV, YouTube, music, photography. Feel free to send a chat request if you think we might get along and please tell me a bit about yourself. I won't reply if it's just a "hey" kind of thing, I'd like to know you read this and what we have in common.
