I'm now at a stage in my life where I need to put myself out there a bit more, to work on making friendships but I tend to find this hard, meeting new people in-person for the first time and I feel like if I can make a friend here who I feel comfortable with, that might just give me the confidence to do it out there.
To add a little about me, I'm 34, female and live in Australia, having moved from the UK a number of years ago. I actually moved for love originally but that's since ended and I've found myself on my own and in some ways starting again, but determined to make the most of it.
I quite enjoy talking about most topics, certainly if you have an interest in fashion or travel then we'll hit it off straight away, but I'll have thoughts or an opinion on most things and enjoy hearing others as well.
I'll admit I've had some bad experiences with chatting before, mostly from dating apps and some of the men on there and I do find women eaiser to talk to, and share conversation, but I'm open to chatting with anyone as long as they're kind and engaging.
I prefer the chat option on here and if you do feel like getting in touch, please do add a general intro about yourself in your message and maybe ask a question or something you'd like to know about me to break the ice.
