Maine has a lot of interesting staple treats. I make an effort to try as many new things as I can, and I have been meaning to try a 'Needham' for years and I can't say I understood it. I have a pretty open pallet, especially for something as simple as a sweet. The longer I live here the more I question how products like Needhams and Moxie are staying afloat, I mean this completely well, who is eating these things? Is it the older population? That would only make sense as the state is majority senior citizens. I need answers if anyone is willing to give their take.
I mean, do you like Almond Joy or Mounds bars? If not, you’re probably not going to like needhams. Coconut and dark chocolate aren’t everyone’s thing. But I love needhams (and Mounds, and Almond Joy, and Moxie, so 🤷🏻♀️).
