it’s been over a month since i’ve inoculated this bag and another of the same size, first few pics shown are PE and the last two are GT. i kind of injected the culture into the middle of the substrate as i’m a first time grower and that was a silly stupid mistake that i didn’t make for the maza 🙏 pic one is of one corner of the PE bag pic two is the bottom of it (duh) and pic three is the front (which i couldn’t really get a good pic because of the moisture, but mycelium has made its way to the top as well.

pics 3 and 4 are of the GT; i had accidentally moved a bit of substrate when checking out the bottom of the bag, since then it’s been kind of hard to see, but it’s made its way back to the outer layer again.

i don’t want to risk mixing too early and ruining the bag but due to ignorance i can’t really tell exactly how colonized the mycelium actually is. i inoculated both bags on July 17th as well; it stays about 70 in my house at all times so i’ve just left them in the darkness of my closet and played some tunes for them 🙏

both bags are full of about 1.5 lbs of substrate and popcorn spawn.
