The standard shake-up is a good example of what's wrong with Arena.

Post Body

This event is a good example of how WotC keeps dropping the ball with this client/game and shows their lack of attention to detail or care.

Problem 1: No ban list listed anywhere

The ban list is usually listed as a bulleted list for shake up events, but not this time. Why? Who knows, it's only about 12-16 cards banned and can easily be listed in the gigantic empty space available. Instead they link to a webpage that only has this to say about the event: link

SHAKING THINGS UP

You'll have to wait and see which cards end up on the naughty list, and you'll need to check twice, with Standard Shake-up returning on December 19โ€“25, followed by Historic Shake-up on December 26โ€“January 1.

That's it. No ban list, no information, nothing. We have to find out ourselves what's even banned when the whole point of this event is this banned list.

Problem 2: Wrong prizes

The one prize for winning is listed as "Cosmetic will be a sleeve, pet, or avatar" yet most people who are saying anything about what they're getting are the basic parallax card art/style we can buy that are usually what's in the daily deal section of the store. They can't even be bothered to make sure they're giving out the appropriate rewards.

The icing on the cake is that the cosmetic isn't duplicate protected.

Edit: card art/style, not sleeve.

Edit 2: If you're paying for reddit awards, give that money to charity or use it for something more productive instead. At least on my posts and comments.
